HOW TO GET THERE

BY PLANE

Lake Como does not have its own airport. The closest airport is Milan Malpensa (MXP), approximately a 40-minute drive from Como. Other nearby airports include Linate (LIN) and Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY), both

about 1 hour and 30 minutes away by car.

BY CAR

The journey from Milan to Lake Como is approximately 50 km. Travel time may vary between 1 hour and 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic. If departing from Malpensa Airport, the journey is even shorter, around 40 minutes.

The route is simple: take the A9 motorway towards Como. There are tolls along the way, which accept both cash and card.

BY TRAIN

For those who prefer traveling by train, Milan offers several departure stations with direct connections to Como:

Milano Centrale
Milano Porta Garibaldi
Milano Cadorna

The main arrival stations in Como are:

Como San Giovanni (connected to lines from Milano Centrale and Milano Porta Garibaldi)
Como Nord Lago (connected to the line from Milano Cadorna, close to the lake)
